Trump's threats against Greenland. The British Prime Minister reacts. Clear position

In an interview with Sky News, the prime minister announced that he shared the position of Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen regarding the island, and emphasized that no one except Denmark and Greenland itself “can decide about its future,” Reuters reports.
Starmer responded in this way to a request to comment on Frederiksen's statement, which appealed to the US administration to stop threats to annex Greenland, which – as Trump said – the United States needs.

The Prime Minister of Greenland spoke in a similar tone as Frederiksen Jens Frederik Nielsen, who found Trump's statement disrespectful.
In another interview on Monday, the British Prime Minister, referring to the Trump administration's conduct towards Venezuela, said: – International law is the framework (…) or reference point that we take into account when assessing the conduct of all other governments. And of course it is up to the US to justify the steps it has taken. This is not a clear-cut matter. It's complicated.
The British Prime Minister's position on Venezuela
As Reuters adds, a Downing Street spokesman said that rally of American armed forces conducted in Venezuela cannot be compared to Russia's “unprovoked, full-scale attack” on Ukraine. “We have always made it clear that Maduro's rule in Venezuela is a fraud,” he added.
The agency reminds that on Saturday, shortly after the operation of American forces in Caracas and the abduction of the local head of state, Nicolas Maduro, Starmer announced that Maduro is no longer the president of his country.
In an interview with The Atlantic magazine on Sunday, Trump referred to concerns that following Saturday's military intervention in Venezuela will fulfill its repeated announcements of joining Greenland to the USA. The journalist asked the US president about the words of Secretary of State Marc Rubio, who said that the attack on Venezuela shows that “if (Trump – PAP) says he will do something (…), these are not empty words.”
Trump replied that it was up to others to interpret those words. — I really don't know. (…) You know, I wasn't referring to Greenland then. But we need Greenland, absolutely. We need it for defense Trump said, adding that the island was “surrounded by Chinese and Russian ships.”
