Colombia deploys troops on the border with Venezuela. It's because of the American attack

As Colombian Defense Minister Pedro Arnulfo Sanchez told CNN, by Sunday afternoon the Colombian army had increased the number of posts in places of high activity of paramilitary groups linked to drug smuggling, such as ELN and Tren de Aragua. He added that the main reason for strengthening forces on the border is the change in the political situation in Venezuela following the US military intervention.

The border “remains calm”
The independent Venezuelan daily “El Nacional”, noting the strengthening of military posts on the neighbor's side, said that since Saturday's attack by US troops, Venezuela's border with Colombia “has remained calm”. “The only visible difference is the arrival at the border of numerous foreign journalists, seeking information and opinions of Venezuelans about the capture of Maduro, as well as a possible change in the situation in the country,” noted “El Nacional.”
Early Saturday morning, the American military carried out a series of strikes in the greater Caracas area. The aim of the attacks was, among others, Fort Tiuna in Caracas, which houses the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense and the headquarters of the Venezuelan army, as well as the port of La Guaira and the Higuerote airport.
During the intervention, American forces captured his wife, Cilia Flores, along with Maduro. The two were transported to New York state on Saturday, where they are scheduled to appear in court on Monday on drug and terrorism-related charges.
