Zelanski added that the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha will take part in all necessary meetings in South Africa and inform the country's leaders about the situation in Ukraine.
According to the head of the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine Ihor Kłymeny, at least nine people were killed, and over 70 were injured at night from Wednesday to Thursday in a massive Russian attack on Kiev using ballistic rockets and drones.
Russian forces also attacked other regions of Ukraine, including Dnipropetrovsk, Czerkaski and Połtawski (central part of the country) and Kharkiv (northeast), where at least two people were injured. Two people were injured in the Chmielnica region in the West, and two in the summary region in the north. In the morning on Thursday, the goal was, among others Zaporoski circuit in the south.
Russians attack on Ukraine
In the attack, the Russian troops used 11 ballistic missiles Iskander-M/KN-23, 37 CH-101 maneuvering missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers, six Iskander-K maneuvering missiles, 12 caliber maneuvering missiles, four CH-59/CH-69 missiles from tactical planes and 145 tactical aircraft Shaad aircraft of various types.
The Air Force confirmed the shooting down of 112 air targets: seven ballistic missiles Iskander-M/KN-23, 31 CH-101 maneuvering shells, six caliber maneuver shells and four CH-59/CH-69 directed shells and 64 unmanned SHAHED assault planes. In addition, 68 unmanned actions were neutralized as a result of the use of electronic means.
