Drivers on the Krasnoyarsk-Elite highway will begin to be fined for overloading from January 10

On the highway from Krasnoyarsk to the village of Elita, an automatic weight and dimensional control point will begin to operate fully from January 10. The equipment was tested for three months.
As Gorod Prima reports with reference to the Krasnoyarsk Highway Department, the control point is located at the 4th kilometer of the highway.
The item began operating in test mode on October 10. For three months, the system recorded violations related to excess weight or dimensions of vehicles and informed owners about this, but no fines were issued during this period.
From January 10, the equipment will return to normal operation, and recorded violations will be punished.
