The Kremlin continues its narrative related to the alleged drone attack on Vladimir Putin's residence in the Novgorod Oblast. According to it, one of the residences of the Russian president was to be attacked by 91 drones. Russia stands firm in its position. On Wednesday, the TASS agency reported about the recording made available by the Ministry of Defense. It allegedly depicts one of the Ukrainian drones shot down over Putin's residence. TASS published the recording on the X website.

“The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has found a downed Ukrainian drone involved in the Kiev terrorist attack on the residence of the President of Russia in the Novgorod region,” reports the Russian agency. He adds that the device remained almost intact. He also informs that in addition to the recording, there were also “eyewitness testimonies”, without providing details.

According to TASS, the recording “confirms a deliberate terrorist attack on the residence of the President of Russia.” However, the video published online does not clearly show where it was recorded. There is a close-up of a damaged drone lying in the snow, probably in the forest. There is also a masked soldier who explains the technical details and explains that the machine has been modified and equipped in such a way that it could pose a threat to people's safety.

The drone footage and TASS information appeared shortly after, among others, US ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker questioned Russia's statements about the drone attack and announced that the matter would be investigated by US intelligence.
