In the capital, the largest flag of Ukraine at the Memorial Complex “National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War” will be temporarily lowered due to the predicted worsening of weather conditions. This was reported by KO “Kyivzelenbud” on the official portal of the Kyiv City Council on December 25.
According to weather forecasters, wind gusts of 15–20 m/s are expected in Kyiv on December 26 (danger level I, yellow).
“To protect the flag from damage, the flag will remain at half-staff until weather conditions improve,” the official statement said.
