Victor Pițurcă, former selector of the Romanian national team, analyzed the fight for the title of SuperLiga champion.

Without a team since January 2020, when he parted ways with Craiova University, Pițurcă claims that the group from “Ion Oblemenco” has the best chances to finish the season in the first position, but believes that FCSB can still cause problems, although they are currently only in 9th place.

“FCSB, who have a very good, experienced squad, are not in a play-off spot. They have a chance to win the championship if they go into the play-offs.

I would like Universitatea Craiova to win the championship, because the fans deserve it. If it doesn't happen this year, it will be quite difficult in the years to come.

This is where the battle will take place: Craiova University, FCSB and Rapid”, said Victor Pițurcă, quoted by sport.ro.
