Collins is happily married to 42-year-old American director and screenwriter Charlie McDowell. They got married on September 4, 2021, 11 months after their engagement. Before this, the couple had been in a relationship for just over a year.

In January 2025, their daughter Tove was born – a child was born to the couple by a surrogate mother.

Collins became world famous thanks to her starring role in the series “Emily in Paris” – she played an American from Chicago, Emily Cooper.
