In Uzhura, a 12-year-old cyclist set fire to dry grass and accidentally burned someone else's house

In the Uzhursky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the young cyclist set fire to dry grass and arranged a large fire. This was reported in the regional police.

Everything happened in the city of Uzhura on the 2nd Beregovaya street, the fire spread to the buildings and the residential building. No one was injured, the fire was quickly extinguished by the Ministry of Emergencies. The involvement of a 12-year-old schoolboy in arson later during the operational-search events was established by police officers.

“Talking with the child, minors' inspectors found out that he, driving on a bicycle, decided to set fire to dryness, not thinking that the flame could spread to the adjacent buildings and left the scene,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

Currently, the police are collected by the verification material that will be sent to the department of supervisory activity and preventive work of state fire supervision for making a decision under Art. 168 of the Criminal Code “Destruction or damage to property by negligence.”

The actions of the teenager will also be considered by the commission on minors, where the issue of registration will be resolved.

Police officers urge parents to talk with children about the inadmissibility of fire breeding during a fire hazardous period, because not only citizens and their property, but also minors themselves can suffer from ill -conceived actions.
