A second criminal case was opened against a resident of Minusinsk, who had previously joked about a dangerous object in a friend’s apartment

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a resident of Minusinsk, suspected of falsely reporting a dangerous object in a friend’s apartment, became a defendant in a second criminal case. This was reported by the press service of the regional police.

The police dispatch center was informed that an unknown woman reported finding a dangerous object in one of the buildings in Minusinsk.

An investigative team was sent to the scene. When inspecting the building no dangerous items were found.

“Police officers identified the caller. She turned out to be a 20-year-old local resident who had previously been convicted, who in early December decided to “play a joke” on a friend and reported a dangerous object in her apartment. The police did not find any dangerous objects or devices during the inspection. Moreover, it turned out that the object of the “prank” no longer lived in this apartment. Having become a defendant in a criminal case, the girl, however, decided not to limit herself to one illegal fact and again came to the attention of law enforcement officers,” the police clarified.

A case has been opened against the suspect second criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 207 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Knowingly false report about an act of terrorism”, which, together with the previous one, will be combined into one proceeding. Girlsit threatens up to eight years in prison.
