Marius Burcă, the president of the Metaloglobus club, announced that the Bucharest group gave up three footballers, and three others could leave in the next period.

“We have closed the cooperation with 3 players so far. Some places have been released. It is about Achim, Milea and Ubbink. The last one retired, but he would still be useful for us, a plus. He has a fantastic character. We are still in discussions with three more players to terminate, we have not closed yet.

I don't think there can be spectacular changes. The budget is limited. You don't come close to the stronger championships abroad and we turn our eyes to smaller teams. You can find the players and make a good batch, that's clear,” said Burcă, according to digisport.ro.

The President of Metaloglobus: “I expected more from the patronage”

Marius Burcă talked about what's next for the team coached by Mihai Teja, which accumulated only 11 points in the first 21 stages of the regular season.

“I don't know if our course was expected. League 1 is not that scary, in any form. Except for the 8-10 teams, who have money, are organized, the rest of the game can always be relegated.

It's normal that I expected more, not necessarily from the players and coaches. I am referring here to the patronage, who had to understand that it is a big difference to League 2 and not necessarily money. I don't want to go into details, but I could do better.

Time is very short. In League 2 you had almost two months at your disposal. We had a discussion with the people in the club, we know what positions we are missing. We are in discussions with some players, on January 2nd we will meet, and on the 3rd we will go to Antalya. It is ideal to leave with the new players from the first day in the training camp. It's not the end of the country, even if it ends up along the way,” Burcă said.

After the championship resumes, Metaloglobus will have three very difficult consecutive matches in January, with Rapid (away), FC Argeș (home) and CFR Cluj (d).
