A well-known organizer of the physical education and sports movement in the Krasnoyarsk Territory has died

On December 22, at the age of 74, the organizer of the physical culture and sports movement Alexander Lukinov died after a long illness, the Ministry of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported.

Alexander Vladimirovich was born in Ulan-Ude, in 1975Graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education of the Buryat Pedagogical Institute. IN In 1979, he was invited to Krasnoyarsk at KrAZ as chairman of the physical education team, a year later – to the executive committee as chairman of the sports committee of the Sovetsky district, and in 1983 – to the city sports committee as deputy chairman for physical culture and sports.

IN In 1984, Lukinov initiated the holding of the first winter sports festival in Krasnoyarsk, in 1986 was elected chairman of the regional Council of Trade Unions of the DSO “Spartak”, a year later transferred to the position of deputy chairman of the regional sports committee, in 1988 nappointed director of the first Branch of the Russian sporting goods base of the State Sports Committee of the RSFSR. IN 90s was the president of the Hockey Federation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. At the same time, he was awarded the badge of Excellence in Physical Education and Sports of the Russian Federation.

WITH From 2002 to January 2025, Alexander Vladimirovich served as deputy chairman of the Coordination Council for Physical Culture and Sports of the Ministry of Health Krasnoyarsk region. The main goal of his professional activity was to create an effective system for organizing sports competitions aimed at attracting as many regional healthcare workers as possible to regular physical education and sports.

“He actively worked on improving the forms of organizing mass physical education, health and sports work in health care institutions, as well as establishing and developing friendly and business contacts between various institutions and organizations. Over the course of 23 years, he created a system for holding sports competitions. During his work, Alexander Vladimirovich became the initiator of significant sporting events, which became the calling cards of the Ministry of Health. Thanks to his high professionalism, deep knowledge of all types of team sports, perseverance and determination, Alexander Vladimirovich managed to build a clear system of sports activities and establish strong business and friendly relations with the heads of structural divisions. His outstanding achievements contributed to a significant increase in the level of physical education and health activities of the Ministry of Health, which had a positive impact on the health and corporate culture of industry workers,” the obituary said.

Farewell to Alexander Vladimirovich Lukinov will take place on Wednesday, December 24, at 12:00 in the Church of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope, Love and their mother Sophia at Partizana Zheleznyaka Street, 3a/2.
