Russians may not expect an old-age pension due to length of service — experts
Economists noted that reaching the age of 58 for women and 63 for men does not guarantee an automatic pension. To do this, you must meet two additional conditions: have the required work experience and accumulate a certain number of pension points.
Thus, Russians with less than 15 years of work experience or with a pension coefficient below 28.2 can be refused. Economists emphasized that the work experience acquired in the 90s may not be taken into account for some older citizens. People of pre-retirement age are advised to check information about themselves in advance.
