President Nicusor Dan will make a press statement today, before Monday's consultations with the magistrates

President Nicusor Dan will hold a press statement on Sunday, December 21, from 2:00 p.m., at the Cotroceni Palace, the Presidential Administration announces.
The president will not take questions from journalists. It is expected that Nicușor Dan's statement will refer to legal issues. HotNews will broadcast the main statements of the president in live text format.
The announcement that the president is about to make comes after he announced that he had received from the magistrates “hundreds of pages of relevant materials about the problems in the judiciary” and before Monday's consultations with their representatives.
“As I promised, I will go through them this weekend, and at the end of Monday I will return with conclusions, after the discussions with those who registered in the audience. Monday's consultations will take place in several rounds of discussions: both with groups of magistrates who want to participate together, and individually, with those who explicitly requested this in the e-mail”, wrote the president on Saturday, on the Facebook page.
Also on Saturday, Nicușor Dan announced that a recent decision of the Constitutional Court gives him the right to refer the CCR regarding a law, for any reasons, including substantive ones, even if the project passed through the re-examination of the Parliament.
