UTA Arad defeated Dinamo with a score of 2-0at the “Francisc Neuman” stadium, through the goals scored by Alin Roman (33') and Valentin Costache (68'), and the “dogs” missed the chance to climb to first place in the Superliga.
After the game, Andrei Nicolescu, the president of the Dinamo club, went live and analyzed his team's performance.
Andrei Nicolescu: “Defeat is not important”
“It's not the defeat that's important, it's the fact that we looked out of touch with the game. It was quite a difficult year, which I ended badly. All in all, it was a successful year, but I ended it badly. Everyone wanted to give everything they could, but we must be careful to analyze what we lacked.
We felt connected before the game, but the game looked bad for us at halftime. We tried to tune the system and play something we hadn't played before, thinking we could come back, but unfortunately we weren't able to.”
Dinamo's president spoke about potential transfers: “We want up to 4 new players”
“Unfortunately, we have no news regarding the transfer of Pușcaș. We want up to four new players, but nothing concrete at the moment. Starting tonight, all players go on vacation. We will try to disconnect from everything that has been this year and come back on the evening of January 2, then on January 3 we will go to the training camp in Antalya.”
Andrei Nicolescu also spoke about the club's budget:
“Dinamo, in first place, was discussed from the beginning, and pressure was put on. We did not handle this opportunity as we would have liked. Kopic's demands are ours too. It is not a dispute between the coach, sporting director and shareholders, but we manage things together.
We have an operational deficit, but the project is a serious one, aimed at growing the club from a marketing point of view. Shareholders will come with 3 million or more. We hope to break even, but we have to sell players. Several players are attracting the interest of other clubsbut we're trying to strengthen the team and not sell players in the winter,” Andrei Nicolescu told Digi Sport.
