The government withdraws over 2.4 billion lei from the Reserve Fund for investments. What bills will be paid

“At the end of the year, we will not have unpaid invoices for any government financing program carried out by the Ministry of Development”, the Minister of Development, Cseke Attila, said on Wednesday, after the Government approved the addition of 2.4 billion lei to the Ministry's budget from the Budget Reserve Fund to pay all invoices issued under investment programs.
Minister Cseke Attila gave assurances that “all invoices submitted to the Ministry of Development for investment works, including those submitted this month, will be paid, if no specific additions or clarifications are needed.”
From this amount, 2,557 invoices will be paid for investments such as those in the water and sewage network, the natural gas distribution network or the modernization of roads, financed through the “Anghel Saligny” Program, investments financed through the PNDL I and II programs, the seismic rehabilitation of schools, kindergartens, hospitals, housing blocks and public buildings, increasing the energy efficiency of housing blocks, the construction of social housing, service and necessity, as well as the development of urban plans.
The Ministry of Development also paid the invoices submitted for the works carried out for the investments financed by the ministry, through the National Investment Company.
