Whether it's for the little ones or for avid readers, a book remains one of the most inspiring gifts. And this year the Gaudeamus fair offers new titles for all tastes.

Gift ideas for adult readers
Trei publishing house comes with a lot of news, especially in the Anansi imprint, coordinated by the writer Bogdan-Alexandru Stănescu. The books in this collection, written by award-winning authors, take readers around the world. Bogdan-Alexandru Stănescu's recommendations include: “Zsömle sa dus”, by László Krasznahorkai – winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2025; “Short walk through the Hindukush”, by Eric Newbi; “History” by Elsa Morante; “The Crooked Plow” by Itamar Viera Junior; “The Lake of Creation” by Rachel Kusner; “Mater 2-10” by Hwang Sok-yong and “Echo of the Forest” by Richard Powers.

The representative of the Art publishing house, Matei Sâmihăian, proposes original titles, graphic novels for young readers, but also adults:

If you prefer personal development, Iuliana Leonti, from the For You publishing house, recommends titles such as “Mind Mastery” by Dr. Gabriella Bondoc; “Footprints on a deserted lighthouse” by Alexandru Boțoroga; the exercise books Get Well-Being in 10 Minutes a Day by Gill Thackray and Calm Your Anxiety by Amy Birch.

The publishing houses, of course, have not forgotten the little lovers of reading and have prepared a multitude of books that are only good to give away.
