OpenAI bought the Polish company Neptune, which develops tools supporting the development and management of artificial intelligence models, the companies announced in their announcements.


“Neptune has created a fast and precise system that allows scientists to analyze complex training processes,” said Jakub Pachocki, chief scientist at OpenAI, quoted in the press release.
“We plan to work together to integrate their tools with our training system to expand our understanding of how models learn,” he added.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
Neptune is expected to discontinue its external services in the next few months.
Neptune provides a training platform for observing artificial intelligence models.
The company was founded in 2017. Its president and founder is Piotr Niedźwiedź. The company's website shows that it has so far raised USD 18 million in financing from investors including Almaz Capital and TDJ Pitango Ventures. (PAP Business)
