The East Siberian Oil and Gas Company (part of Rosneft) continues to implement a large-scale program to restore Siberian forests.
In 2025, about a million coniferous seedlings were planted in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the Achinsky and Karatuzsky forest districts. The work was carried out on an area exceeding 310 hectares.
Siberian spruce was chosen for planting as the species best adapted to local soil and climatic conditions. To ensure high survival rate of young trees, the company’s specialists organized agrotechnical care. These measures, including clearing weeds from plantings and improving soil condition, contribute to the successful formation of new forests.

Over the past four years, Vostsibneftegaz’s contribution to forest reproduction has reached 3.5 million coniferous trees planted over an area of more than a thousand hectares.
Rosneft’s principles in the field of reforestation are reflected in its public position “Let’s save the planet for the benefit of present and future generations: sustainable forest management.”
Environmental responsibility and conservation of nature for future generations are an important part of Rosneft’s corporate culture and social policy. The company is implementing a set of large-scale programs aimed at reducing the impact on the environment and increasing the environmental friendliness of production.
In addition to reforestation, Vostsibneftegaz works to preserve aquatic biological resources and introduces the principles of a circular economy. For more than ten years, the company has been supporting scientific research aimed at preserving the unique and fragile ecosystem of Evenkia.
