Club Dinamo officially announced the extension of Maxime Sivis' contract until 2028, with an option for another year. The 27-year-old right defender, one of the most consistent players of the “dogs”, thus remains in Ștefan cel Mare for the coming years.

The management of Dinamo wants to avoid the mistakes of last season, when Selmani and Homawoo left for free after the expiration of their contracts, notes Sport.ro. Arriving in the summer of 2024, Maxime Sivis quickly became the undisputed starter at Dinamo. The Frenchman collected 47 matches, in which he managed two goals and four assists.

“We are happy to announce the extension of Maxime Sivis' contract until 30.06.2028. Through constancy, professionalism and attitude, Maxime has shown that he is a player you can rely on at any time. Maxime, we wish you as many successful matches and as many beautiful moments with Dinamo as possible!”, Dinamo wrote on social media.

The “Dogs” are currently fourth in the SuperLiga standings, with 31 points collected after 17 rounds. Dinamo is only one point away from the third place occupied by “U” Craiova, two lengths away from the second place occupied by Botoșani and four points away from the leader Rapid.

For Dinamo, a fiery period follows, with matches every three days: Steel (29.11), Farul (03.12), FCSB (06.12).
