In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the court ordered compensation for moral damages from the school in favor of the student. The regional prosecutor's office reported this.
In February 2025, a second-grader at Tyukhtet Secondary School No. 2 was playing in the yard with other children in an after-school group. While playing, the boy hit his head on an iron crossbar of a metal structure. The blow left him with a hematoma – a bruise covered his forehead, nose and both eyes.
The teacher, who was supposed to monitor the children, became distracted and moved away from the playground. After the incident, instead of calling an ambulance, she applied snow to the bruise and sent the boy home alone. The parents noticed the child's condition and took him to the local hospital.
Doctors prescribed the boy treatment and exemption from physical education. However, two days later, the class teacher insisted that the student attend a physical education lesson. A second-grader performed exercises with an injured head and experienced severe pain.
“The prosecutor's office checked and found out that video recordings from surveillance cameras recorded the actions of the teacher. The recordings confirmed that the woman was indeed not supervising the children and was at a considerable distance from the dangerous structure. The prosecutor filed a lawsuit in the interests of the injured child,” the press service of the supervisory agency reported.
The court ordered the school to pay compensation for moral damages in the amount of 20 thousand rubles to the boy. The prosecutor's office continues to monitor the situation to ensure that similar cases do not recur.
