Donald Trump's administration has prepared a 28-point plan to end Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The document was disclosed by the American website Axios, which obtained its content from a source familiar with the matter and then verified it with officials in Kiev and Washington. The project includes, among others: reduction of the Ukrainian army to 600,000 soldiers, loss of Crimea, Donbas and Donetsk. Additionally, Kiev is to write into the constitution that it will not join NATO, and an amnesty will be introduced in connection with acts of war.

Former Polish ambassador comments on the American peace plan

Marek Magierowski, former ambassador to the USA and Israel, commented on the draft of the American peace plan in an interview with RMF 24.

— We are dealing with an attempt to force Ukraine to completely surrender. I don't think Kyiv would agree to this proposal. This would be the first case in the history of diplomacy when a brutal, criminal attack would be rewarded and the victim would be humiliated – said Marek Magierowski in RMF 24.

The diplomat added that peace talks could begin on the basis of this document. – I don't think Zelensky would agree to such conditions – concluded Magierowski.

According to UN data, almost 13,000 people have died since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. civilians, including several hundred children, and over 29 thousand were injured.
