According to Budanov, the complete occupation of the Donetsk region is even theoretically impossible in such a time frame.

In the south, the Russians are trying to get closer to the city of Zaporozhye, using “artillery and drone terror.” The purpose of the attacks is to force Ukrainian troops to retreat from the left bank and force civilians to leave the city.
“This is the same tactic that they used in the city of Pokrovsk. They did the same thing there, but Zaporozhye is a little different. This is firstly.
