18 November 12:29

In Lesosibirsk, police evacuated a family with two children from a burning private house. The incident occurred on Taezhnaya Street at about two o'clock in the morning on November 12.

As the Ministry of Internal Affairs said, a patrol unit noticed heavy smoke and a burning veranda. Law enforcement officers tried to enter through the door, but thick smoke prevented them from doing so. People had to be rescued through the window.

Senior Sergeant Ramil Zainullin and Sergeant Vladislav Shelamov handed two children, 10 and 14 years old, into the arms of their colleagues, and then helped their parents get out.

The police placed the rescued family in a warm official car, after which they returned to drive the family's car, which was parked in the garage, away from the house. Firefighters later arrived at the scene and completely extinguished the fire.

The rescued woman expressed deep gratitude to the police officers. “The Lord God himself sent them to me. Thanks, of course, to their mothers for raising real men,” she said.

The issue of rewarding distinguished officers is currently being decided.
