Hero of the Northern Military District Roman Sayutin gets acquainted with the intricacies of urban management as part of the governor’s “Siberian Character” program.
The day before, he and his colleague Boris Filippov studied the work of Krasnoyarsk electric transport – from depots and dispatch services to repair shops. “I didn’t even imagine that urban management is such a huge mechanism,” Sayutin shared his impressions.
Such trips help future managers understand the operating system of complex urban enterprises.
Roman Sayutin is a career officer, a graduate of the Military Engineering Institute of Siberian Federal University. After being wounded at the front, he returned to his native institute to teach, and is now taking a practical module in the department of municipal services.
The “Siberian Character” program, initiated by Governor Mikhail Kotyukov, helps the heroes of the Northern Military District to prove themselves in the field of state and municipal government.
