The worker fell into a hole with ash and died from burns in the village of Berezovskoye Krasnoyarsk Territory

In the village of Berezovskoye, Krasnoyarsk Territory, they opened a case about violation of labor protection requirements due to death worker MKU “Customer Service”. This was reported by the regional Investigative Committee.

Everything happened on February 11 this year. According to the prosecutor’s office, the complex service worker cleaned the stove from the ash and threw it into the pit near the boiler room, since there were no special containers at the enterprise. At this time, the man stumbled and fell into hot ash, receiving the burns of his face, arms and legs of the 2nd and 3rd degrees, 30 % of the body surface turned out to be affected.

The man got out of the pit himself, without waiting for the help of colleagues. Instead of calling a doctor, the victim was taken home. The “ambulance” man said that he received burns due to “negligence in everyday life”.

The next day, his condition worsened, hospitalization was required in the district hospital. Later, a man at a sanitation was taken to the department of burn intensive care of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Clinical Hospital. The worker died in the hospital on February 26.

Employees of the institution denied the incident and demonstrated tanks behind the boiler room, but the accident entered the surveillance cameras.

Investigators will give a legal assessment of the actions of those responsible for compliance with labor protection requirements in the institution.
