
This appetizer is a godsend for those who don’t want to stand at the stove before the New Year, but want to surprise their guests. Just 5 minutes, 6 ingredients and no cooking. It turns out so juicy, aromatic and festive that guests will think that you ordered at a restaurant.
You will need:
1 ripe avocado
1 red bell pepper
1 cucumber
1 lime
2 tbsp. l. olive oil
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
thin slices of baguette or crackers for serving
How to cook:
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and scoop out the pulp with a spoon. Cut into cubes.
- Peel the bell pepper from seeds and also cut into small cubes.
Finely chop the cucumber. - Mix all vegetables in a bowl.
- Sprinkle with lime juice, add olive oil, salt and pepper. Stir.
- Place the appetizer on crispy baguette slices or crackers just before serving. This way it will remain juicy, but will not soak the base.
