Gabriel Tamasformer Romanian international with matches in the Premier League, spoke about his situation Radu Dragusin TO Tottenham. The centre-back recently returned to the pitch in a friendly.

Gabriel Tamaș, about Radu Drăgușin: “He's very talented, but he hasn't proven anything yet”

“Drăgusin is very talented, but he hasn't shown anything yet. The problem is that he got injured, he has some extraordinary qualities

In my opinion, I wouldn't have taken the step to England, maybe I would have stayed with a bigger team than playing in Serie A. Italy was a “glove”, but it has something. It can grow, I can see it as a defender. He has to work very hard.

The English game is much faster than the Italian game. I've seen Drăgușin, he has great strength, big guy, but he doesn't have that speed. That's what he misses. You can work on it, but you have to focus on it”, said Gabriel Tamaș, according to digisport.ro.

Gabriel Tamaș played for several teams in England. In the Premier League, he has 45 appearances in the shirt of West Bromwich Albion. He also played in the lower divisions at Doncaster Rovers, Watford and Cardiff.

Radu Drăgușin arrived at Tottenham in January 2024, and since then he has marked 37 games, without any offensive contribution. He was transferred to England from Genoa, and Spurs paid no less than 25 million euros for his services.

Radu Drăgușin was injured in the winter of 2025, on January 30, in a duel with Spurs in the Europa League, the defender suffered a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee. The Romanian stopper returned to the field in a friendly against Leyton Orient and played 45 minutes. His return in an official match is expected in December.
