The bankruptcy of ACS FC Dinamo, the entity that owned the famous emblem with two red dogs, made supporters think, in the sense that they want to know what the situation is regarding the logo. One that has been on players' chests for more than two decades.

The judicial administrator of the Club Sportiv Fotbal Club Dinamo Bucharest Association (“Dinamo – Badea”, as it is also known to the fans), requested the opening of bankruptcy proceedings, and on November 12, the syndic judge ordered the entry into bankruptcy.

The “Fotbal Club Dinamo” brand – including the logo – would be valued at one million euros. However, the situation is volatile

According to Prosport information, in an asset valuation report dating back six years, the assets attached to the Fotbal Club Dinamo brand are valued at 4.5 million lei. Approximately 900,000 euros.

In the heritage are, among other movable and immovable goods that will be auctioned by the judicial liquidator, the coat of arms with the two dogs.

In an intervention for Iamsport.ro, former midfielder Dănuț Lupu, who also worked at CS Dinamo, was also close to ACS FC Dinamo, said: “The logo will be put up for auction. I don't know a price, but it will be wanted by those in League 1. I have the impression that now even they (No. Dinamo 1948, the Super League club) are no longer allowed to use it. There are terms and conditions that I do not own”. The statement was interpreted in various ways by supporters afterwards.

A first reaction from Dinamo: “The brand is encumbered by the permanent right of use”

The officials of the group that is currently in 3rd place in the first division are already documenting this situation, and in a first reaction on the subject they claim that there would be no danger that the team now in the Superliga, which has all the supporters of the “red dogs” by its side, will have to change its logo.

“According to the contract, Dinamo (the Super League club) is assigned the brand for use throughout its existence. Thus, the brand is burdened with this task in a possible auction, as otherwise, everyone who would participate in the auction must know that the brand is burdened with the permanent right of use.

However, there is still a long way to go until asset identification, evaluation expertise organization, auction organization… Dinamo can continue to use the brand, the logo, until a possible auction,” said the representatives of the group, interviewed by GSP.ro.
