The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Engels in the Saratov region with drones. At least five people were injured. A state of emergency has been declared in the city and residents are being evacuated.
According to Mash, among the victims are a man and a woman; they were hospitalized with a head injury and a shrapnel wound to a city hospital. Three more victims received medical care on an outpatient basis.
About 160 people from nearby SNT were evacuated. About 30 private and country houses were damaged. Residents of SNT “Malinka” and “Children's Sanatorium” are evacuated by special transport. The area has been cordoned off and no one is allowed in.
UPD. Health Minister Dudakov reported 10 casualties in moderate condition. Five are in city hospitals, the rest are in Engels.
