Andrei Nicolescu, the president of Dinamo, contradicted former footballer Claudiu Vaişcovici at the end draw with CFR Clujscore 1-1.

Nicolescu's reaction came after the Prima Sport expert's opinion regarding the game played by Cătălin Cîrjan, the “decarul” and captain of the “dogs”. He criticized the performance of the midfielder.

Andrei Nicolescu contradicted Claudiu Vaișcovici: “It's not normal to talk about Cîrjan”

“Karamoko played in the center until now, which is not his position. Today he played on the left and went into the center. Karamoko is the one who led and did the most for the attack.

Cîrjan drove only from 30-35 meters from his own goal and 10-15 meters in the opponent's half. He has other concerns. Only back and side passes. Cîrjan in a one-on-one duel is physically outmatched, he has no strength. Karamoko passed both one and two opponents”, said Claudiu Vaișcovici, according to orangesport.ro.

And Nicolescu intervened and contradicted Vaișcovici regarding Cîrjan's game: “we have nothing to criticize the players in this match. We had attitude, desire, opportunities, but the goal was missing.

I had the impression that Cîrjan was told that he played a bad game. Someone from the studio told de Cîrjan that he didn't do anything else in this match.

Cătălin pressed in our box, he went down to the line, football must be appreciated not only on the filtering passes. He is a midfielder who is starting to produce from all points of view.

It's not normal to talk about Cîrjan for playing a bad game tonight. In my perspective he made a very good match. We will play all the matches to win them. The championship is gone. We want a place that will also ensure our participation in the European cups from the championship”.

Cîrjan could bring victory to the “dogs” in overtime, but the “ladder” sent by him was taken out by Braun before it entered the net. This season, the midfielder played 37 games, during which he managed 6 goals and 6 assists.
