The PSD candidate for the Capital City Hall, Daniel Băluță, claims that Bucharest must expand in the future, because it is no longer possible to build in the city. He invokes the real estate mafia, which also in District 4 attacked in court several projects for citizens, such as parks, schools.
“Beyond PUZs, beyond all these aspects, in this city you can no longer build, because there is no more space, speaking of the approach I have. That is why, from my point of view, this city must expand. What must be done urgently within this city – the buildings at seismic risk, necessarily, especially the private ones. People must be supported to invest in this direction. Both through the authorization procedure and especially through financing methods. “Historical monument houses must also go through a rapid authorization procedure, provided that they do not change either in terms of the surface used or in terms of height. As long as the original conditions are maintained, they represent types of buildings that would be useful to authorize in an emergency.” said Daniel Băluță to Digi24.
The PSD candidate also says that there is a need for a metropolitan area, where all the neighboring localities can integrate into everything that Bucharest means, precisely in order to be able to urbanize them properly.
A new territorial administrative division
The Mayor of Sector 4 states that soon the governing coalition will deal with the administrative-territorial redistribution of Romania.
“There are two aspects, one legislative and I rely on the fact that soon the governing coalition will deal with the administrative-territorial redistribution of Romania. This Bucharest-Ilfov area is an interesting area to explore for specialists in this type of administration and that this legislative amendment can be confirmed and approved together with the amendment of the Constitution.
On the other hand, we have reality. The reality is that machines, people, activities from Bucharest and Ilfov, the GDP of the region, which is in the top 10 in Europe, works as a unit. Precisely because it is a living organism, which is represented by the Bucharest-Ilfov region, it must be properly thought out, so that its development is not chaotic. It's just like when we want to make a lane, we look where people take it. They alone make the route we are going to use. It's the same here. People showed us what they wanted. We must follow the will of the people. I've already done these things”says Baluță.
