The winner of the category I prize in Sunday's Loto 6/49 draw, worth more than 9.66 million euros, collected his winnings and did not want to make his identity public, the Romanian Lottery announced on Tuesday.
“I want everyone to learn from me that things, regardless of their nature, can happen. And they only happen when you want them to. The Romanian Lottery proved to me that this theory is correct. Keep dreaming!”, said the winner, according to the announcement made by the Romanian Lottery and quoted by Agerpres.
The lucky winner of the second big prize in the history of the Romanian Lottery is from Arad, he is around 30 years old, he is an engineer by profession and he considers himself a positive person.
He has been an occasional lotto player for several years, but for a year he has been playing constantly only online, on the Romanian Lottery platform, at Loto 6/49 and Joker, including Noroc and Noroc Plus, games in which he has, so far, obtained only small winnings.
He also said that his lucky numbers were chosen at random and that he will continue to play his favorite games.
