Nine new sports facilities will be built in the Krasnoyarsk Territory by 2028

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, funding for the state program “Development of Physical Culture and Sports” for 2026–2028 will amount to 34.8 billion rubles. As part of the program, it is planned to build nine large sports facilities. The Committee on Sports, Youth Policy, Tourism and Development of the Social Environment of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reviewed the draft budget for a three-year period.

In Divnogorsk, the Sputnik stadium will be reconstructed and a universal sports and recreation complex will be built at the Olympic Reserve College.

A physical education center will appear in Krasnoyarsk on Aviatorov Street and a regional rugby center at the Avangard base. A multifunctional physical culture and health complex for adaptive sports will also be built, which will combine rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities and for combatants.

The construction of a swimming pool is planned in Yeniseisk. Prefabricated indoor areas will appear in Nizhny Ingash, Taseevo and Ilansky. In addition, the equipment of GTO sites and the renovation of sports facilities will continue.

More than 6.9 billion rubles are allocated for the Krasnoyarsk Territory program “Tourism Development” for three years. For the implementation of the regional project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” from 2026 to 2028, 6 billion rubles have been allocated. In the territories of the region in 2026, 110 public spaces will be put in order, 34 of them will be transformed based on the results of rating voting. Every year, 30 courtyards in cities and towns of the region will be transformed.

Almost 11 billion rubles have been allocated for the state program “Youth of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the 21st Century” for a three-year period. Boys and girls from all over the region will have the opportunity to participate in major all-Russian and regional forums, patriotic events, festivals and competitions.

“The budget parameters in those areas that are under the jurisdiction of the committee have either increased or remained the same. We see the continuation of construction projects as part of the state program for the development of physical education and sports. Municipalities will continue to receive subsidies for prefabricated indoor sports structures. We are convinced that without creating infrastructure in rural areas, it is impossible to achieve our main target of 70% of the share of citizens systematically involved in physical education and sports in the region. To achieve this goal, the implementation of the “Yard Instructor”, “Siberian Longevity” projects, programs to support local sports clubs, the development of student and corporate sports, as well as initiatives to support adaptive and mass sports will continue,” said Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee Alexander Novikov.
