Tauron's EBITDA result in Q3 was above the consensus

Tauron estimates that in the third quarter of 2025 its EBITDA result amounted to PLN 1.918 billion and net profit reached PLN 844 million. PAP Biznes consensus assumed PLN 1.83 billion EBITDA and PLN 794 million net profit.

Tauron announced in a press release that its estimated revenues in the third quarter of 2025 reached PLN 7.819 billion, and the market expected PLN 7.66 billion.

EBIT is estimated at PLN 1.266 billion.

According to estimates, the EBITDA of the Distribution segment amounted to PLN 1,324 million, the Renewable Energy Sources (RES) segment – PLN 101 million, the Generation segment – PLN 233 million, the Sales and Wholesale segment – PLN 196 million, and the Heat segment recorded an EBITDA loss of PLN 8 million.

In the period of 9 months of 2025, Tauron estimates that it had PLN 25.118 billion in revenues, PLN 6.142 billion in EBITDA, PLN 4.26 billion in EBIT and PLN 2.9 billion in net profit.

CAPEX after three quarters of 2025 amounted to PLN 3.667 billion, and in the third quarter alone – PLN 1.384 billion.

Net debt as of September 30, 2025 amounted to PLN 10,821 million. The net debt/EBITDA ratio was 1.4x.

Electricity distribution during the 9-month period amounted to 38.54 TWh, including 37.53 TWh to end users. Gross electricity production reached 8.38 TWh, including 1.27 TWh from renewable energy sources. Heat production amounted to 7.08 PJ. Retail sales of electricity amounted to 18.52 TWh.
