The Avroid company has stopped developing applications for the domestic mobile OS Aurora. This is the one that was supposed to destroy the App Store, Google Play and the Internet as a whole.
One of the projects of the Kaliningrad LLC “Avroid” was the Telegi client on the Aurora OS. But having added up the final credit and debit, the company faced problems: debts, lack of money and turmoil. According to one of the owners, the idea is simply unprofitable – there are too few devices on the domestic OS, which has not taken off.
For 2023, at the very beginning of its work, the company went into the red by 43 million rubles. And for 2024, the net loss amounted to 240.9 million rubles. Employees are not paid their salary, which is why some quit, others went to work remotely.
