The founder of the Canal 33 TV station, Alexandru Răducanu, announced his retirement from politics, according to PaginadeMedia.

“I will not comment on the causes. It is a personal decision to focus on the priorities where I can bring value. I do not intend to have any other political adventures in the future,” said Răducanu for Paginademedia.ro, who resigned from PUSL.

“I simply decided to withdraw. It is a decision in the dynamics of my relationship with Mr. Dan Voiculescu. He is a man whom I told you I respect and will continue to respect, but I understood that we have different values and priorities,” he said.

Răducanu had automatically become vice-president of the Social Liberal Humanist Party.
