Are the shops open on November 1st?
Even though most large stores remain closed, some retail outlets are still open. The following are open: Żabka stores, whose opening hours are set by franchisees. In larger cities, some of them operate from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and some even longer.
Gas stations are open 24 hours a day, offering basic food and drinks. Local stores can be open if the owner or a member of his family is behind the counter. Some bakeries and confectioneries, especially near cemeteries, also sell goods, although often to a limited extent.
Before going shopping, it is worth checking the opening hours of the selected point, because they may vary depending on the location and the owner's decision.

Trading on Sunday, November 2, 2025
Sunday, November 2, 2025, will also not be a trading day. Large chain stores will remain closed, and there are no shopping Sundays planned in November. The next such opportunity will appear only on December 7, 2025. This means that for two days in a row – on Saturday and Sunday – it will not be possible to shop in supermarkets, so larger purchases had to be planned in advance. On Sunday, just like on Saturday, only Żabki, small family shops and gas stations will be open.
