Strawberries, raspberries and larger transports of flour will be excluded from the SENT system used to monitor the transport of goods – according to the draft regulation published on Thursday. These goods were covered by the SENT in response to their increased influx from Ukraine.

On Thursday, a draft amendment to the ordinance of the Minister of Finance and Economy on goods whose transport is covered by the road monitoring and railway monitoring system and heating fuels were published on the pages of the Government Legislation Center. The project, which is to come into force in 14 days from the date of publication in the Journal of Laws, aims to eliminate the obligation to report some agricultural products to the SENT system, i.e. an electronic system for monitoring and registration of the transport of sensitive goods.

Based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MRiRW) – Goods listed in the relevant CN codes, which were indicated by MRiRW. In the opinion of MRiRW – the need to monitor transport in the SENT system ceased to the goods in question. In connection with the above, it is necessary to change the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of April 25, 2022 on goods whose transport is covered by the road monitoring system and railway transport and heating fuels trading ” – reads in the justification to the project.

In accordance with the planned regulation, There will be no need to report to the SENT SENT SENT SENDs fresh raspberries, strawberries, black currants, cranberries, blueberries or black blueberries, whose weight exceeds 3 tons, as well as other fruits with a weight of more than 0.5 tonnes. The obligation to report wheat flour or meslin (wheat and rye mixture) and other cereals with a weight above 100 kg will also disappear. The need to report sunflower seeds will also disappear if their weight exceeds 10 tons.

“In the opinion of MRiRW, the purpose of introducing the above -mentioned group of goods into the SENT system was achieved. In addition, Polish agricultural producers have positively accepted that import and flow through Poland of the most sensitive agricultural products is monitored, also as part of the SENT. project.
