The former coach of Cluj, Ioan Ovidiu Sabău, is convinced that the University will prevail against last season's champion FCSB, in Saturday night's match played in the 15th stage of the SuperLiga.

Unirea Slobozia plays FC Argeș on Saturday, from 17:30, in the 15th stage of League 1, and Universitatea Cluj – FCSB will be the second match of the day, starting from 20:30. The games will be broadcast in liveSCORE format on GOLAZO.ro and live on Digi Sport 1 and Prima Sport 1.

Ioan Ovidiu Sabău decided to leave U Cluj after a series of failures, resigning after the team lost at home, score 0-2, to FC Botoșani, the current leader of the ranking.

The new coach, Cristiano Bergodi, has already recorded two victories, one in the Superliga and one in the Romanian Cup.

Sabău agrees that Bergodi was a good choice and is confident that U Cluj can beat FCSB tonight, a team that seems to be in a downward spiral.

“I think that U Cluj wins, that's my opinion. As Cristiano Bergodi also said, it's a team that has confidence and strength at the moment. It's also the public, they're still coming after two victories and I think that FCSB can be defeated. Those there are not going through very good times.

U Cluj is good on the defensive side now, they sit in the field, they close the spaces, they stay back. I would really like them to win, because they are there near the play-offs. (about Bergodi, no) Something else was needed in the team, as I said. A different kind of approach was needed, different discussions after 3 extremely busy years”, said Ioan Ovidiu Sabău, according to Digi Sport.
