US hits smugglers' boat. Pete Hegseth revealed the details


“This morning, at the direction of President Trump, The War Department launched a deadly kinetic attack on another drug smuggling boatoperated by a terrorist organization in the Eastern Pacific,” Hegseth wrote in a post on Platform X. He added that the boat was known to the intelligence services for its involvement in smuggling, sailed along a known smuggling route and transported drugs.

“The War Department will continue to pursue and eliminate them wherever they operate,” the secretary said.
This was at least the 14th such attack by US forces in the eastern Pacific or Caribbean Sea. A total of 61 people were killed during them. Hegseth did not provide the nationality of the suspected smugglers or the organization to which they allegedly belonged. The administration has designated a number of gangs in Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and El Salvador as terrorist organizations.
