The complete schedule of stage #6 of the Saudi Pro League
Cristiano Ronaldo continues his journey towards the historic 1,000 goal mark, a target that already seems a certainty given the frequency with which the Portuguese superstar is scoring.
CR7 has reached 950 goals! Another 50 and it's a thousand!
Al Hazem did not last long against Al Nassr. In the 25th minute, Joao Felix opened the scoreboard at the King Abdullah Stadium, finishing in Varela's goal after receiving a pass from Ayman Yahya.
The team from Riyadh was not satisfied with just this goal, however, and continued to storm the home team's box, but Jorge Jesus' students missed opportunity after opportunity, and the final score seemed to remain the one set by Felix.
However, in the 88th minute, Cristiano, the greatest scorer in the history of football, stepped up to make it 2-0 from the penalty area. The man with the decisive pass was the Brazilian Wesley.
The goal scored in the Al Hazem goal was the 950th success of the Lusitanian's career. So CR7 is just 50 goals short of the famous 1,000-goal milestone, an event that will most likely happen, given that the Portuguese will be active at least until the summer of 2027, when his contract with Al Nassr expires, by which time he will already be 42 years old.
