As a child, my grandmother always smelled of pancakes – fluffy and sweet. How to repeat the aroma of nostalgia throughout the whole house and that same incredible taste from childhood was explained in the blog “Secrets of a Happy Housewife” (12+) on the Zen platform (12+).
It turns out that the whole secret is in the heat: heated kefir and dough.
Ingredients:
- Flour – 400 g flour
- Egg – 1 large
- Warm kefir – 500 ml
- Soda – 1 teaspoon
- Sugar – 2-3 tablespoons
How to cook:
Beat the egg with sugar, add warmed kefir and mix well. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the liquid ingredients and mix everything until the consistency of sour cream. Leave the dough warm for about 20 minutes.
Heat a frying pan with a little oil. Use a large spoon to spoon out the batter so that the pancakes are evenly distributed. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Bon appetit.
