Vollmart opens a new store. Competition between Biedronka and Dino is growing


The 12th Vollmart store was opened in October. A new facility has started operating in Przemyśl. In September, new branches appeared in Dębica and Biała Podlaska. Currently, the reach of Vollmart stores covers over one million inhabitants within a 50 km radius of their location.

As explained by “Wiadomości Handlowe”, the chain offers a wide range of food, industrial, refrigeration and freezing products as well as household chemicals. Vollmart's business model is based on a combination of low prices and high quality of service, which is intended to attract customers tired of the mass character of large chains.
Vollmart focuses on minimalism – no advertising leaflets, limited store equipment and sales of goods straight from pallets and cardboard boxes. Thanks to this, the company reduces operating costs, which allows it to offer customers competitive prices. The assortment includes approximately 1,200 products, most of which come from local suppliers.

Vollmart is a supermarket format developed by the Polish company Brand Distribution Group. The first store was opened in 2021 in Siedlce, and since then the chain has been gradually increasing its presence in cities with at least 50,000 inhabitants. inhabitants.
