Bolojan, warning about the “effects” of the statements made by Grindeanu. The Prime Minister suggests to the PSD leader to make a majority “with AUR, with whoever can” if he is dissatisfied with the Government

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan declared, on Thursday, on Antena 3, that statements like those made this week by PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu create two types of “problems”, one related to “economic consequences” and another related to “people's trust”.
The prime minister was asked about the decision of the PSD interim president to leave the coalition meeting during the disagreements regarding the magistrates' pensions, but also about the fact that Sorin Grindeanu publicly told him “to go home if he continues to do the same procedure a second time without having a dialogue with all the actors” relevant to the reform in the system.
“In the conditions in which any party considers that the Government is not doing its duty, it has the possibility to submit motions of censure and make a majority in the Parliament in such a way that, with AUR, whoever it can be, the government leaves. It is not a problem, but I will tell you the effects of this type of statements and these things that sometimes happen in the coalition”, declared Ilie Bolojan on Thursday evening.
The Prime Minister said that “when a creditor looks at a country they look at the stability of the government”.
“When you see statements of a certain bill, people ask themselves, sir, it's an unstable government. From the analysis I did, working now, for four months, with the rating agencies, between 30% and 40% of the score a country receives is given by the stability of the government,” he continued.
“There are some economic consequences”
The liberal prime minister suggested that statements like those made by the PSD leader have “economic consequences”.
“Any kind of statements like that, strong, or behaviors in a certain area, which implies a certain responsibility, because depending on what you do there are some economic consequences, you can realize that there is a cost to the country, because you can't lower the interest rates, sure, have stable government, don't waste the money, take measures, which we did – and it was seen in these months that we lowered the interest rates, but the real decrease is done by increasing rating, trust (…), but that means having predictability”, continued Bolojan.
Another issue, related to “people's trust”
Ilie Bolojan suggested that such contras also affect citizens' trust in the authorities.
“The second problem of statements like this is related to people's trust. You can see that people expect some behavior from us, however, settled. They expect that if there are disputes to resolve them, don't forget why you engaged in a government. Let's do these things, but not declaratively! And if we don't respect each other, you can see that it's hard to assume that we could regain the trust of the citizens,” he continued the prime minister
Bolojan said that he did not even offend the opposition even if he was “rubbed to dust in the Parliament”.
“I was born in a village in Transylvania. I have a personal discomfort to meet with you tonight and tomorrow in a meeting to make you dust and powder, and in the evening, again, let's meet as if it never happened. It's a matter of personal discomfort, you understand? And I will not encourage and you never saw that I started to offend anyone from the coalition, nor from the opposition when they made me dust in Parliament, because I think we we must respect each other”, concluded Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan.
