VTB calculated in which regions pensioners are more active in transferring payments to cards

VTB experts calculated that over the 9 months of 2025, the bank credited more than 650 billion rubles of pension funds to the accounts of its clients – twice as much as in the same period last year. Today, every 10th pensioner in Russia receives payments from the bank.

This year, another 1.3 million people began to receive regular pension payments from VTB – today there are already more than 4 million. The most active pensioners are moving to VTB in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol – 284 thousand people, the Moscow region (82 thousand), St. Petersburg (69 thousand), Krasnodar Territory (57 thousand), as well as in the Rostov region (36 thousand) and Sverdlovsk regions (34 thousand).

One of the factors for the growth of the pension base is the transition of Post Bank clients. Now almost 400 thousand pensioners are already receiving their pensions from VTB; since the beginning of the year, the bank has credited them with more than 36 billion rubles.
