Krasnoyarsk residents showed the northern capital through the eyes of photographers to the anniversary

Norilsk Nickel opened a photo exhibition in Krasnoyarsk to his anniversary, which shows Norilsk through the eyes of famous photographers.
The Nornical said that the photographs organized by the company for Krasnoyarsk photo artists were in the spring. In April, the group worked in Norilsk and Dudinka, removing the usual life and beauty of the Far North.
The result of the tour became several amazing exhibitions. Five of them can be viewed on city streets, embankments of Krasnoyarsk and in the Fanpark “Beaver Log”. A few more works were presented on the eve of the day of Metallurg in the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The key exhibition was opened on the eve of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the company in the Gallery of Siberian Art “In the Center of the World”. The photo exhibition shows Norilsk as a modern developing city attractive to life and tourism. Photographers walked along the streets of the city, visited the picturesque natural places of Taimyr, the original dwellings of representatives of the indigenous peoples of the North, observed the arrival of the vessels in the Dudinsky seaport and saw how the Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant works.
The exhibition will not only get aesthetic pleasure, but also learn more about the region, feeling the real spirit of the Krasnoyarsk North. Among the authors of the photographs are Tatyana Vishnevskaya, Elena Bavrina, Julia Bugakova, Sergey Tokarev, Katerina Dubrovskaya, Alexander Paniotov, Victoria Profitkova, Larisa Chernova, Yuri Podopigora.
The deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Sergey Sizonenko noted: “Norilsk is the pearl of the Arctic, and Taimyr is a huge unique territory. By the way, Taimyr translates from the Evenki as rich, generous. And if you plan to visit Norilsk, you must also get acquainted with Taimyr, see the beauty of the Arctic tundra, the uniqueness of the animal world, stroke the home northern deer, see how the small northern nations live. All this exists in harmony with the company and industrial production. ”
The exposition in the Gallery “In the Center of the World” (96 Mira Ave.) works until July 27 inclusive, the entrance is free.

The northernmost theater brought several premiere performances to the regional capital also as part of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of Norilsk Nickel. The photo exhibition not only became an addition to the action on the stage, but also showed the backstage life of the polar theater.
