The mayor of Sector 6, Ciprian Ciucu, announces that he has sued the Ministry of Defense and has appealed the building permit for a “closed circuit” hotel to be built on the Taberei Road, notes Agerpres.

“The Ministry of Defense has given its own building permit for the land opposite the park, in the Road of Taberei. I had some discussions with some generals about three to four years ago, because they wanted to make a hotel. A hotel with a street front, even opposite the Moghioroș Square, where I would not have a ice. Attached the building permit ”, said Ciucu, on Wednesday, in the meeting of the Local Council Sector 6.

He mentioned that the Ministry of Defense, according to the law, can issue building permits only for national security issues. On the other hand, in this case, it is a “closed circuit” sports base, the mayor said.

“” I tried to stop the building, but I did not succeed in court. I did not want to get people in the street, but obviously that land must somehow come back to the sector. Hotel, but let's collaborate.

He also stated that the “timid” construction work began, but not at the hotel itself. The mayor said he was “completely inopportun a hotel of the MApN” there, because it would crowd the area even more.

“Imagine a block on the street, opposite the market. I don't even want to think about what this means. (…) The last thing that is needed now is that hotel mastodon.

The mayor said that in Sector 6 there are many military and many reservists, but it was convinced that the “closed circuit hotel” is not for them. He also stated that the land was left for years “in a misery state”.

The statements were made in the context in which, on Wednesday, the Local Council Sector 6 approved the feasibility study and the technical-economic indicators for the arrangement of a playground for children on Independence no. 202e. This playground will be made on a land with an area of 3,082 square meters, rented from the Electrocentrale Grup SA company. The total value of the investment is 3.3 million lei (including VAT), and the execution time is estimated at 15 months, of which 4 months for project works and one month for the site organization.
