In the Bolshemurtinsko-Sukhobuzimsky municipal district, a major overhaul of the Atamanovo-Kononovo-Kekur highway has been completed. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Transport.
The work was carried out within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. The road workers laid a base layer of crushed stone-sand mixture and two layers of asphalt concrete. Workers also strengthened slopes and cleared ditches of vegetation, installed culverts and barrier fencing, installed new road signs and applied markings.
“In 2022, the section from 12 to 15 km was repaired – transit through the village of Khloptunovo. After which, local residents approached us with a request to replace the crushed stone surface with asphalt concrete in the section from 9 to 12 km,” said Dmitry Zotin, Minister of Transport of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The Atamanovo-Kononovo-Kekur road is a popular tourist destination in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which leads to numerous recreation centers along the left bank of the Yenisei.
Repair of the route is planned to continue. First of all, it is necessary to update the section from 23 to 26 km, which passes through the village of Abakshino. The road will be brought to standard condition at the request of residents and based on diagnostics of the road surface.
Let us remind you that as part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life” this year, work is taking place at 86 regional road sites; about 200 km of pavement and 10 bridges will be repaired.
