Pupils of Kansk secondary school No. 6, who are on preventive registration, visited a correctional colony to see the living conditions of convicted minors. This was reported by the GUFSIN of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
During the visit, the schoolchildren were shown the premises of the detachments, including strict conditions of detention and a disciplinary detention center. They also visited the cultural and sports center, where students engage in creative arts and sports.
At the round table “How I Understand Freedom,” convicted teenagers shared their stories with guests. They told how fatal mistakes led them to imprisonment, and about the difficulties of adapting to life in a colony.
According to the organizers, the frank stories of their peers made a strong impression on the schoolchildren. Such meetings help teenagers think about the consequences of illegal actions and make a choice in favor of law-abiding behavior.
